33 Days and Counting...down...

Yesterday was my "day of rest" however it was anything but that, and now I'm scared of my ride later on today. I went to church, and left from there to go to a work meeting...still in my church clothes. Then, I get a call from Kevin that he has FREE Rangers tickets, 18 rows behind home plate and they are in the 5th inning if I wanted to try and make it. Well, DUH!! YEAH I WANT TO TRY AND MAKE IT!!!! Ended up parking WAY far out there, and while still in my church clothes that included heels, I hoofed it as fast as I could for a brisk 15 minute walk to the stadium. Did I mention the heels??? Got there to realize I was on the complete opposite side from where I needed to be.

All that to say, there were two lessons learned!! First, my feet REALLY don't like me to do what I did...LOL!! Second, I'm already building stamina from all this bike riding, because I wasn't out of breath or in any other kind of muscle pain from the little sprint. I assure you, this out of shape and overwieght girl would normally be dying from such an adventure. I got to see two innings, two great plays including a Ranger run, and got a ballpark Coke in a big red cup :-) Good times.

So, hopefully my feet will stop cramping by the time I need them for tonight's ride. Time will tell...
